Standard cyclic chain

Most bicycles use a chain drive to transmit power from the chain links to the rear wheel. Chain drives can be divided into two types:
1/2” pitch x 1/8” width or 3/16” width:
Simple transmission used without a gearbox.1
/ 2” pitch x 3/32” width:
Simple transmission devices for both, as well as transmissions with variable-speed gears.
