In addition to the standard ANSI/ISO chains in the full range, TYC also offers special roller chains, including lubrication-free, environmentally resistant, wear-resistant, side-bow, hollow-pin, C-type, snap-on top, and rollerless chains.

 

 

 

Lubrication-free roller chain

· Providing continuous lubrication is always the best way to maximize chain life. However, for applications that require cleanliness and freedom from oil contamination, are difficult to maintain, need to reduce daily lubrication costs, or demand the longest possible chain life, TYC offers a comprehensive solution package—including the SL, SLB, SLH, and O-ring series chains. These products are suitable for both drive and conveyor applications.
· Self-lubricating (SL) chains are conventional sintered bushing chains designed for standard operating conditions. These chains have a tensile strength lower than that of ANSI-standard roller chains.
· The SLB (SLB) chain design features the same tensile strength as ANSI/ISO standard chains and is suitable for use in wet environments, as both the chain links and pins are coated. The SLB chain is particularly well-suited for conveying applications due to its roller assembly. TYC offers a wide range of chain sizes and accessories to meet your diverse needs.
· The SLH (SLH) chain has the same characteristics as the SLB chain, and its design features a maximum working load identical to that of ANSI-standard roller chains. It is suitable for...

Wear-resistant series

· As the chain operates, the pins continuously rub against the bushings and gradually wear down. Consequently, the chain elongates during operation. In harsh environments, the chain stretches even faster, which shortens its service life.
· TYC offers solutions to enhance chain life. Depending on application requirements, wear resistance can be improved through specially formulated processes or coatings.

Side-bent chain

Hollow pin chain

Because the pins are made from precision hollow tubes rather than solid rods, hollow-pin (HP) chains offer limitless possibilities for the spacing between crossbars and attachments, making them an excellent choice for a wide variety of conveyor designs. They allow for easy assembly and disassembly of attachments connected to the base chain, reducing both time and costs during installation and maintenance. Lug-type extended-pin chain

· The TYC snap-on top chain is available in 1/2” or 3/4” pitch and can be configured for either straight-line or side-mounted arrangements. Both ends of the pin, which is free of rivets, feature additional extensions that allow attachments to be easily snapped on or removed. The precision of all components ensures a flat conveying surface, providing a smooth and seamless object-handling experience. Even in the most demanding working environments, its optimal hardness, high tensile strength, and precise pitch control guarantee accurate engagement and reliable operation.
· The TYC snap-on top chain is available in both carbon steel and stainless steel materials. The nickel-plated chain, with a carbon steel base chain to maintain strength, offers an economical alternative to corrosion-resistant stainless steel.

Rollerless chain
