Engineering chain

Engineering-grade chains can be used in a wide variety of equipment, such as street sweepers and amphibious vehicles (marsh buggies), or in conveyor applications for automated assembly equipment, or in many other conveying processes. Depending on application requirements, engineering-grade conveyor chains may feature chain links that have undergone heat treatment or remain untreated. The pins, bushings, and rollers are all heat-treated. Although the width of the inner link plates, the thickness of the chain links, and the dimensions of the pins remain constant, the pitch of the chain and the size of the rollers can vary according to application needs without affecting the chain’s performance.
